Judge Call Privacy Policy

Judge Call works entirely on your phone. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no ads. We don’t collect, receive or sell any of your data.
What the app stores, and where
Everything you enter in Judge Call stays in a database on your device: events, judge calls, player names and Player IDs, infractions, penalties, descriptions, notes, time extensions, and your own judge name and Player ID if you add them in Settings. App settings such as your theme, language and app lock also stay on the device.
None of this is sent to us or to anyone else by the app. Deleting the app deletes this data, unless you made a backup.
When data leaves your device
Only when you choose to send it. When you export a report, a Penalty Summary or a backup, Judge Call creates the file and opens your phone’s share sheet. You pick where it goes, for example email, messages, a cloud drive or AirDrop / Quick Share. From then on, that file is handled by the app or service you chose and its own privacy policy.
Your phone’s own system backups (iCloud or Google backup) may include the app’s data if you have them turned on. Those are controlled by your device settings and Apple or Google, not by us.
Purchases
Judge Call Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by the App Store or Google Play. They process the payment. The app only learns whether Pro is unlocked; we never see your payment details, name or email address.
Permissions
- Notifications: to show the running call timer on your Lock Screen and in the notification shade while you record a call. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- Vibration: for haptic feedback.
If you turn on the app lock, the PIN you choose is kept in your device’s secure storage and never leaves the device.
Player information
Judges record the names and Player IDs of players they rule on. That information is kept only on the judge’s device and shared only when the judge exports it, normally to the event’s Tournament Organizer as part of the event’s penalty reporting.
Children
Judge Call is a tool for tournament judges and is not directed at children. Because the app collects nothing, it collects no information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
